Developmental Screening and Monitoring 1 Star Meets licensing requirements by assessing the state of a child’s health and ensuring immunizations are up-to-date
Child Observation and Planning 5 Stars Uses a state-approved tool to observe children’s development at least twice a year. The results are entered into a software program to track children’s progress and to plan learning activities in the classroom
Teacher-Child Ratios and Group Size 4 Stars At least:
  • 3 teachers for every 12 infants and toddlers who are in a mixed-age group classroom
  • 2 teachers for every 10 toddlers
