A Decade of Empowering Educators & Enhancing Early Learning

As we celebrate the 10th anniversary of Quality Start Los Angeles (QSLA), we want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we’ve shared together. Over the past decade, QSLA has grown in size and scope, from a program that supported a few hundred early learning programs across Los Angeles County, to one that works alongside over 1200 family child care and center based programs. As we head into our 10th year, QSLA is dedicated to enhancing early learning that strengthens families and nurtures the whole child by empowering early educators and maximizing resources through an integrated county-wide system of quality improvement supports.

This milestone is not just a celebration of QSLA, but of you—our committed early educators, families, and partners. Your dedication, hard work, and passion have been the driving force behind all of your success. Together, we have nurtured, educated, and empowered thousands of young learners, setting them on a path toward lifelong success.

To our early educators, your tireless efforts to create caring, nurturing, stimulating, developmentally appropriate environments for LA County’s youngest learners are at the heart of QSLA . You are the backbone of your community, and your impact on the lives of children and families is immeasurable. QSLA is proud to support you in your mission to provide the highest quality care and education.

To our families, your partnership, feedback, and involvement have been essential in shaping QSLA into the comprehensive, supportive program it is today. We are honored to walk alongside you as you guide your children through their early years as your child’s first and most important teachers.

As we look to the future, we are filled with excitement for the possibilities that lie ahead. QSLA is more committed than ever to meeting the diverse needs of early educators and families through training, coaching, resources, and more, and engaging in collaborative efforts, with early learning programs and partners across the county, to elevate the standards of early childhood education across Los Angeles County so all children enter kindergarten prepared to succeed in school and in life.

We know there is still work to be done, but we thank you for being a part of this incredible journey. Congratulations!  Here’s to the next decade of growth, learning, and success—together.💗🎉

With gratitude,

Your Quality Start Los Angeles Consortium Partners
