MAKE SURE YOU HAVE COMPLETED ALL OF THE TASKS FROM THE REGISTRY STEP BEFORE PROCEEDING.
Congratulations, this is the final step of the QSLA Assessment process!
Look for an email from LACOE with the final Tier Rating and Tier Rating Report. For more information about how to Read a Tier Rating Report that includes information on how to share this information with teachers and parents, you can access this resource to the left.
Lastly, if a Rating Appeal is required, use the Rating Appeal button to the left to complete a request. As a reminder, a Rating Appeal can only be requested for Element 1, 2, 3, 6 and 7. Due to the nature of the scoring for Element 4 and 5, these cannot be contested at this time.
All QSLA participants are showcased on the QSLA Website, click the QSLA Participants and Tier Ratings button to the left to view. Please note, these ratings are updated throughout the year, so the updated Tier Rating for the site may not be uploaded for a little while after completion.
There are five possible ratings that a Quality Start LA program can receive, with a Tier 5: Mastering Quality, being the highest.
Step Recap:
- Review the Tier Rating Report
- Submit a Rating Appeal, if needed
- Share the Tier Rating results with your staff
- Meet the site’s QSLA Coach and continue the Quality Improvement process
