Running an early learning program, whether a Family Child Care or center-based program, requires both knowledge of child development and early education as well as business skills.  The resources below provide support related to aspects of running a child-care business, including financial, policy, marketing, and technological support.

The Child Development Training Consortium offers a Child Development Permit Stipend Program, which can help pay the permit application fee to the Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Additionally, CDTC provides support for specific educational expenses to students attending California Community Colleges. Students pursuing a career in early childhood or child development, MAY be eligible to apply for the Educational Support Grant. Check out the links below for more information!
