Early Literacy

Did you know that the period from birth to 3 years is critical for a child’s language development. Furthermore, it’s proven that the more words a child hears before kindergarten, through reading and spoken interactions, the more likely they are to have future success in school. Helping children develop a love for and exposure to reading from birth sets all children up for greater success in school and life. Check out our many early literacy resources below for links to books, read-alouds, local libraries and more!
